World Sleep Day-2025
"World Sleep Day - 2025" was celebrated on 14th March 2025 at NIDCH, organized by The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh (CHAB). The event focused on the theme "Make Sleep Health a Priority", highlighting the vital role of quality sleep in maintaining health. CHAB arranged an awareness rally & seminar to inform healthcare professionals and the public about common sleep disorders like Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Insomnia. The celebration successfully promoted greater awareness about sleep as a cornerstone of good health and disease prevention.

50th anniversary of CHAB
It was a proud and historic moment on 11 May 2025 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh (CHAB). This organization has been at the forefront of advancing pulmonary care for half a century. Over the past five decades, CHAB has played a pivotal role in promoting medical excellence. Fostering academic growth and enhancing patient care across Bangladesh.
As we gathered here at `Radison Blue` Dhaka to commemorate this milestone, we express our deep gratitude to our founders, mentors, and members whose contributions have shaped this remarkable legacy. Their dedication has empowered a generation of clinicians and improved the lives of countless individuals.

World TB Day 2025
On 24th March 2025, World TB Day was celebrated by The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh, with the theme "Yes! We can end TB" at the NIDCH premises. There was deliberate participation from experts, guests from DGHS, NTP, doctors of NIDCH, and other hospitals.

PTB Guideline Workshop
On 29th June 2025, a workshop was arranged to develop the "Pulmonary Tuberculosis" guideline. There were four (04) Groups to work on this workshop. There were elaborate discussions among members based on existing policies, textbooks, and journals.

World Bronchiectasis Day Celebration - 2025
The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh celebrated "World Bronchiectasis Day 2025" at the NIDCH Auditorium. Two presentations highlighted the medical and surgical management of bronchiectasis, followed by valuable comments from a panel of experts.
